Whilst away I was browsing a science forum on the internet.  Boring I know, but there you go.

Anyway, imagine my surprise when I discovered a thread with the title "Snooker Discussion : Putting Topspin on a Cueball."  Upon opening, I found it was an exact copy of my Betfair thread from a couple of years ago.  A poster going by the name of Snooker Loopy was cut and pasting my posts on to the science forum and passing them off as his own!

I suspect he was then copying the scientists' views and posting them on here in reply to me, trying to bamboozle me with physics no doubt.

Can the CCDA get on to this please?

They have even taken the trouble to personalize my posts by changing Betfair usernames to Science Forum usernames, otherwise my posts are reprinted word for word.

Signing off, gentlemen.

If the fine officers of the CCDA could deliver me the culprit's head on a silver platter by this evening I would be most grateful.

Many thanks.

Interesting to see PM refer to 'MY Betfair thread'. Have intellectual property rights been conclusively established on 'Thread Ownership' or is this a separate issue for the Chit Chat Legal Department?

I received the souvenirs this morning, TMP.  Another layer of burlap would have been welcome, but the stains will probably come out in time.

Many thanks, sir.

And to think I haven't opened the Snooker thread as I don't like snooker, little did I know it would have been riddled with science.

Snooker is a very scientific game, sir.  It's why I love it so much and find it fascinating.

I'd forgotten about this thread.  Amazing coincidence to find a copycat when surfing a science forum in America!  What are the chances?
