Does anyone on here suffer from compulsive gambling? Obviously there will be lots who do but don't admit it but do any of you openly have a gambling problem?

Also has anybody had experience with someone close to them suffering from gambling addiction?

It all started with helping her claim an innocent looking £20 welcome bonus then a few months later we were getting a call from the police saying she had head butted the local postmistress for opening late on pension day. Cry

I'd rather lose my home, car, possessions and quite probably a few limbs than suffer larrence's addiction.

But if you can hold a tune you could win x-factor with that kind of sob story behind you.

There's gamcare, AA, The Samaritans, talktofrank - But why is there no charitable body for X Factor addicts, or do they just transfer sufferers to Dignitas?

I know a couple of people who have suffered from gambling addiction - one lost almost everything and the other just feeds money into the machines constantly...knows he is addicted, knows he loses money but doesnt seem bothered

To the OP, asking the question you have in the Chit Chat forum is like asking 'does anyone in here like a drink?' in a pub!
