All other countries have an inferiority complex regards Britain and secretly wish they were like us, especially America.
On a smaller scale, it's a bit like the massive jealousy and hatred Scotland often show towards England, stemming of course because they feel terribly inferior to the English. |

maybe on the whole esp Australia ,but i would disagree totally with America ,i'd say we have a chip on our shoulder as far as America is concerned (the little/big brother syndrome)- they probably couldn't give two hoots about us tbf ,but we tend to be very bitter about them and their success over the years
