Great tune, and the words were satisfyingly daft, while also satisfyingly shocking to the average West German of 30 years ago.


Kebabträume (Kebab Dreams) was the DAF song I really liked. That chorus was brilliant: Wir sind die Türken von morgen/Wir sind die Türken von morgen (We are the Turks of tomorrow).

I always hear that chorus in my head when fckwits in this country imagine that attacking unhappy, exploited foreign workers is the solution to their own exploited, unhappy situation.
