jimmy69's impression of a Sir Mark Prescott horse looks to have been somewhat scuppered by the admittance of some Group 1 runners into Division 5.

I found it much tougher than last week. Think Nibbsvision has switched to mean mode.

Good evening gentlemen.

I've just had a try.  Great start for me, but fell off a tad in the middle section.  I got a few tough questions correct and failed on a couple everyone else will probably consider easy.

Mr Nibbs.  Excellent as always, sir.

I shall be in America for six weeks from Thursday 3rd May.  Is is possible for another quizzer to play in my place whilst I'm away?

One question confused me totally and I ran out of time before I could think of a sensible answer.  I shall be mightily impressed if anyone gets that one.

I don't mind at all falling through the divisions whilst I'm away, that's what it says in the rules after all.  I was just concerned it would mess up Mr Nibbs's format if everyone knew somebody was not going to play.

You can get on Betfair in the States by the way, guys.  It's just that I choose to give it a break when I'm away.

Giving it some thought, I think the most sensible thing to do would be to 'freeze' Pokermonster in the division he is playing in and just promote 2 players from every division below the one he is playing in that week.

When he returns, 2 players would then be relegated.

i'm off to Kazakhstan tomorrow...can I be frozen too?

Unfortunately Nibbs this will give "the grumpies " cause to complain if they were to miss a week.Easier just to dump PM in Div6 as of the week after next and promote 2 that week.

I think he should be 'frozen' then on his return slowly 'thawed' as he works his way back up like anybody else who chooses not to play on any particular week or weeks.

Sorry to cause a fuss Mr Nibbs.  Please just relegate me down through the divisions, sir, and I'll try to climb back up on my return. I wouldn't mind that in the slightest and it is what is says in the rules after all.

As to why I won't be playing whilst I'm away, gentlemen: it's because I'll be travelling in an RV and I just don't want to be thinking about anything much from one day to the next.

If I happen to get online somewhere, and the time difference is right, of course I'll have a go.

I regret I may miss a few as I'm off to ascend Everest, swim the Pacific, dive into the Marianas Trench, then off to Mars for scientific research. I plan to return to land in Kenya, cross the border into Somalia, remove, by force if necessary, the rebel leader, meet up with Billy Fish, and become King. 

After 4 weeks I shall be in Oman, at the Royal Farm in Salalah, visiting my old boss, the Sultan. We will fly to the UK in his private jet, where he will be off to meet H.M The Queen, in time for Royal Ascot, while I pop into his place  place in Berkshire, then his flat at Hyde Park, to make sure all is okay. 

If I were here, rest assured, my quiz score would be 14 every week.

Please relegate or promote me, based on that score,  as you go on.
