I need to find a really good example of a 'persuasive conversation' in a film. I can't seem to recall any particularly good ones nor can find any! Could anyone please help me out?!

Thanks

Natural Born Killers. Woody Harrelson.

Talking about why killing is natural.

More of an interview than a conversation though?

I don't think it was Pacino's best work but the closing scene in Scent of a Woman won him an Oscar I think/

In the opening scene of Inglorious Basterds, the Nazi is quite persuasive with the Frenchman. but it's more an interrogation than a conversation Laugh

If this doesn't get you a first I'm not sure what will Confused

Derice: You know, when the Swiss want to ge....[Team groans]
Sanka: Ah, will you shut up about the damn Swiss! I mean, it was all that eins zwei drei nonsense that got us all nervous in the first place.
Derice: Hey man, look here, I'm just trying to get us off on the right foot.
Sanka: Well the right foot for us is not the Swiss foot. I mean come on Derice, we can't be copying nobody else's style. We have our own style.
Derice: Kissing an egg is no kind of style. It's the Olympics here, it's no stupid push-cart derby. [Long pause]
Sanka: Let me tell you something rasta, I didn't come up here to forget who I am and where I come from.
Derice: Neither did I, I'm just trying to be the best I can be.
Sanka: So am I, and the best I can be is Jamaican. Look, Derice...I've known you since Julie Jeffreys asked to see your ding-a-ling and I'm telling you as a friend if we look Jamaican, walk Jamaican, talk Jamaican and IS Jamaican, then we sure as hell better bobsled Jamaican.

Harold Shand in the Long Good Friday - 'You don't go round crucifying people, not on Good Friday'. Can't get any more persuasive than that imo

The coin-toss conversation in No Country for Old Men, where the killer persuades the gas station owner to gamble his life on the toss of the coin though he doesn't realise that's what he'd doing. I'm sure there are loads of examples in that film.

yes there must be a lot of these situations in Coen brothers films. Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Fargo...

Good scene of persuasion in Pulp Fiction, when Marsellus Wallace convinces the boxer to go down in the fight. But a monologue, not a conversation
