No rioting in the Olympic Borough of Newham.
Like fack !! It wasn't reported. My favourite was the two grevilles who spent 15 minutes prising what they thought was the ATM from the wall of Barclays Bank, which is in a side street. The ATM is on the front of the building, in the main road. They had prised off the mini-statement printer. ![]() And like minded fackwits, with the whole of East Ham High Street to choose where to rob as all spare police had been sent to Hackney and Tottenham, they left alone the jewellers shops, and robbed Primark. ![]() Romford was the same, all those shops, and Primark got done, but not one jewellers. You get a better class of villain in Barking, the jewellers in the Shopping Mall got done. And the Police station isn't that far away, but once again, all spare feds were sent to Hackney and Tottenham I was in Barking that day, visiting my daughters, and I never saw anything in the main High Street get touched, and there must be well over a hundred shops there. |

Whilst it might suit some agenda's on here to have race as the defining feature of these criminals, that's not the case.
All races were involved. It was opportunistic criminality by toerags who thought, because they were in a crowd, they wouldn't be caught. The Policing those fews days was textbook. Amass in numbers once this became possible, to provide a bigger and better organised 'gang' (for want of a better term) than the crims. Then, through unheralded, painstaikingly slow and unglamorous analysis of CCTV footage, interviews with responsible community leaders (teachers etc) and on-the-ground-intelligence from good old-fashioned coppering, get the little bstards responisble bang to rights with a front room full of Nokia's in a series of dawn raids. Some parts of London are, now, more crime free than they've been for years as gang members that have been untouchable suddenly put their hoods above the p[ara[et last August and have been caught - not that you'll hear anything about this in the media, keen to look at causes rather than the brilliant results the police are having. |

lee jasper who makes himself a spokesman for the black 'community' is making it a rascist agenda he says its rascism
as I said - if it was mainly blacks in london why was it mainly whites elswhere elsewhere clearly not race or culture then well yes it is culture isn't it a culture of me me me and fk anyone else |

I don't think there's much doubt that the London riots were proportionally more black people rioting looting/being cultural etc than there were whites per rata of population for the areas.
Then again in Manchester where there isnt much of a black british population at all (give or take the odd small area)it was mainly white scallies though this seemed pretty much the Salford lot.Certianly copycat stuff from a the underclasses really. Having said that we could all do without the handwringing and people blaming racism and shortage of oppoutunities etc.I've no idea how trident is doing these days or if it's been renamed "the cultural dancing and regga regga sauce unit" but in all fairness they have a monumental task with the amount of gang culture in the smoke. |

Apparently, London's population is still 80% white
Were the rioters in London 80% white? |

By:
it's everybody elses fault and not the responsibility of certain individuals
this report is a mistake these are the same old excuses |

The blame for the riots can be aportioned to the individuals involved, useless unelected ‘community leaders’ and the Police. As harsh as it may be, I would like to have seen the Police shooting the rioters on the Saturday night when the riots kicked off. The Police doing absolutely nothing ensured the riots spread and became a free-for-all.
Whether the riots were race related seems to be a contentious point. Forgetting about the rioting from Sunday onwards, which was mainly copycat opportunistic rioting involving black, white, young, old, etc. The initial riot in Tottenham was started by blacks. That’s not opinion, it is fact. I don't know whether that makes it a 'race riot'! |

People looted because they thought they could steal stuff and get away with it.
Why people committed arson? Not really sure. You would have thought burning people out of their homes and possessions would not be that much fun. |
