Typical British mentality of finding a fault in everything. Hardly any red on the 1996 2000 or 2004 kits and the 1992 kit was just disgusting. Best kit for 20 years but just because it was designed by a Brit who in a world leader in their chosen field we as a nation feel a need to become outraged. Rule Brittania

I haven't followed the GB team's sartorial fortunes with quite the assiduity of MIM, neither am I an expert in careers in women's fashion, but I'd have preferred to see our lot draped in the union flag for a home Olympics - save of course, for Victoria Pendleton, who should honour the original games(ish) by competing naked.
Vive la République!

As would 'Kiss my Argies' emblazoned on the rump of all our athletes. Now THAT'S the sort of design idea we needed in the mix.
I'm wasted ... on here.
It would send the right message. As would 'Kiss my Argies' emblazoned on the rump of all our athletes. Now THAT'S the sort of design idea we needed in the mix.I'm wasted ... on here.

Joel....can't agree more about the shoes but, for me, without going into pages of detail about what I don't like, the first thing is the lack of a cohesiveness in the designs for the different sports!
It kind of looks as if Stella put up a load of variants and someone said "well we've paid for them all so we may as well use them all!
Looking at the tennis kit it looks as though someone said "Ok we'll go with the top but can you just pop down to the sports store and pick up some shoes and shorts"!
It will only look good on an ugly tennis player......such as mmmm!

I would happily pay £15.37 to Sport Relief if Jessica Ennis would cycle that outfit over to me right now. We're both probably in London so it shouldn't get offensively sweaty.

It might sound like I'm batting for the other side, but as a citizen of Ireland (you might call it the Republic of Ireland, or Eire) why is Northern Ireland not mentioned on the kit. My eyes were drawn to Jessica Ennis's chest area and I see Great Britain. No mention of Northern Ireland. Money back, full refund imo.

Best, and more pertinent response yet about this from Jess Eadie (Olympic Rower):
jessica eddie @jesseddie Reply Retweet Favorite So Olympic kit...I like it! Heard lots of negative comments, but to all those people...don't worry, you won't be wearing it!

I think some of the kit does look ok but, for Gods sake, if someone turned up in that tennis kit at my gym I think they would be politely asked to leave.

Jess trains in Meersbrook park when shes up here, about 5 minutes walk from my house. The park has one of Sheffields steepest 7 hills. She always says hi back when she flies past.
