What is the purpose of "chit chat" on a gambling forum?

I'm gonna guess the purpose is...chit-chat.

The purpose of chit chat is to enable the Betfair customers to exchange views, and ideas. Quite often the combined and broad knowledge and experience will provide help and guidance with problemjs. These problems can vary from computer glitches to seeking the optimum sequence in which to seduce several female singing groups.
Duck-feeding is another specialised subject where the collective know-how on this forum is probably superior to any other study group.
If it doesn't happen on Chit Chat, it ain't worth bothering about.

total waste of time imo, if they done their market research they'd know we're all sociopaths.

It's for shrewdies to chill out and have a bit of banter. Shame that it's become a home for a load of witless chumps

or for people with no friends

to discuss life changing topics like john stape and peter barlow

So as not to bugger up the other forums with chit chat.

Chit chatters tend to be more clevera and betta spellas than yor average puntas on ear.
