Rob, Betfair - in their wisdom - are doing their best to alienate every single customer they've ever had.
They must have the thickest people in the world working their these days.
You now have to set your start page to 'community' (top left) and then if it comes up in beta crap - switch it to 'classic' - and save it.
Then you can launch the pop up, and press the icon to make it the normal size - without all the adverts - and put your original page onto any sport you may be interested in having a bet on.

They've been marginalizing the community stuff for a while. Suppose it makes sense as a business. You don't want easily accessible stuff drawing attention to your every flaw one easy click away.
The fact that you could talk about betfair, on betfair always made it more attractive to me, but they are just so corporate these days.

Rob, I've just checked Site Feedback and it may be that you can't set your iPad to 'classic' at the moment - as the Betfair Community Manager person says there is a bug they're 'working on' (titter).
I always bring betfair up using search betfair forum- then just switch to classic before logging in rather than after as if do it after dont get classic format

If you change the language thing from English - Uk to something like ENglish - Asia, or Aus then you can still have the Community tab, if you put it on Aus you wont see any of the casino junk either
I tried that but it seemed to log me out straight away. Probably an iPad problem.
