Seriously try and find a woman who likes sport. My wife is passionate about Rugby League and Crystal Palace. She watches snooker and lets me watch what i want...its a good combination. If its a big sporting event she will keep quiet or go out with the kid.
Free advice mate. I dont want paying. |

I have lived with men and women practically my whole life but the last about eight years on my own have been the happiest. I do not think I will ever go back to living with someone, although I am temporarily living with a friend.
Although being a woman I think is different to being alone and being a man, most men do not like being alone. |

Angel sounds like u have a good lady there my friend. Think it would be hard 4 me 2 meet a bird that shares my passion in football and racing. If I had to chose a woman or betting then its always going to be the latter unless she is into the same

Kal, 24% of people who go to watch football are women. I accept that most are probably with their partners, but that leaves a lot of women who like football.
I think that women just have to be educated about football. I grew up watching it with a football mad father and two brothers. It was either watch football or watch nothing in those days. And then there was a succession of football mad boyfriends. But if I had never had to watch it I might think it was boring. |

feck me i thought it was bad enough you were bleating about not having a woman ...
I have been betting on football for the past few years but never been able to make consistent profits. My real love is for horse racing and have been to Cheltenham for the last 2 festivals. I have decided that i now want to focus on horse racing and i want to learn as much as i can to try and maximise my chances of winning. I have a basic understanding of racing but i want to learn more. Can any of you recommend any websites/books for a novice punter like myself. I.e A beginners guide to horse racing. I have also heard of people keeping spreadsheets with lots of different data. What kind of data would that be and is there any example spreadsheets that i could download? What would you recommend for me as a novice punter? Thanks begging on the horsey forum too; what a sad basket case! |

She never watches anyone but England on the telly though, while I'll happily watch something as irrelevant to me as Milan-Palermo. We follow a team that rarely gets on TV. When they are actually on live, she watches. |
