To the original poster, how do you feel about Celtic?
By:
What has Celtic got to do about it????
By:
No Rangers...no Celtic
By:
sigh
By:
I've never met anyone who has spouted such vitriol about Rangers who isn't a Celtic fan, hence the question.
I couldn't really give a monkeys about either club, and am not religious by the way. |
By:
^^^that's to briggietim by the way.
By:
rangers and celtic need each other, otherwise who would posters like briggietim vent their frustrations at ?
By:
Stenhousemuir
By:
As posted earlier what is the relevance to asking about Celtic, the topic is about a sectarian company that is allowed to flourish in Scotland. With its demise we might be able to educate our kids re the merits of tolerance and move society forward.
By:
I agree with the desired outcome but not the reason.
Rangers should be kicked into space for fecking it up financially for everybody else - the culture of living beyond one's means has been endemic in the UK since 2002 when the UK last ran a balanced budget. There should be consequences for failure like Rangers's. For around a decade most other clubs couldn't get close, and even Celtic probably spent more than they would have liked because Rangers were cheating the public purse. |

So Celtic are in the clear then? no bigots there? of course not...decent Cathlolic boys every last one of them. |
By:
They will just reform as Rangers 2012 and it will soon be forgotten.
By:
onemanarmy best course of action is not to converse because it will lead to a slagging match and abuse, let him spout his nonsense imo.
By:
Celtic and Catholics. You sum up what an ignorant person you are, and how deep rooted our society still is with individuals like yourself that always throw the Catholic card in discussions.
By:
As a neutral who has been to both Celtic and Rangers games I found Celtic to be far less endearing than Rangers. In fact I found the whole atmosphere surrounding the Celtic fans to be very depressing. I would find it very difficult to have even the slightest of affection for them.
A pretty unappealing club in the eyes of most neutrals I would say. |
By:
Celtic and Rangers are sadly obsessed with religion and hatred, something that in todays society we need to eradicate.
By:
I never understand why they don't get bored with the monotonous repetition of it all. A ridiculously uncompetitive league and playing your closest rivals 4,5 or 6 times a season doesn't sound very appealing.
In a good season you win the league and in a bad season you come 2nd. I would prefer to get relegated a couple of times and battle back. |
By:
Delighted my wishes came true and lets go all the way and not let them ever return to any league and banish this bigoted company once and for all and let future generations be tolerant to all religions whatever shape or form this may take.
By:
one of the english team's lower league managers came out yesterday and said that "rangers should not be allowed to play in the english league, not now, not ever".
"there are probably lots of french teams, belgian teams etc that would want to play in this league because of the television income" etc etc. the guy must have forgot about berwick rangers, or gretna iirc played in the FA cup. rangers should try get into the english league, particularly if scotland declares independence as they'll have no queen up here. |
By:
and yes, if they are re-admitted into the scottish leagues... they should start in the 3rd division.
though tbh, I think a slot should be competed for. It's about time a team in the scottish borders played in the leagues, and would probably get voted in over rangers. |
By:
A 'tim' calling for the destruction of Rangers on the grounds of religious bigotry?
Now, I'm only a junior detective in the CCDA, but I strongly doubt the bona fides of the OP. |

What has Celtic got to do about it???? Total one way street is it ! No bigotry in the green camp then ![]() |

By:
Celtic and Rangers provide a 'relatively' acceptable outlet for
the bile of the bigots that follow the Old Firm. The only real difference is that by dint of demography there are many more zealots who follow the Blues. |
By:
Celtic have a darker past than rangers financial troubles
By:
Thread name sounds like a new Bond file imo.

By:
file = film imo.
and name = title. |

By:
rangers fans feel there martyrs
so at least 3 years before premier league--an even then thats not certain ![]() |
By:
What the hell is a 'Newco' when it's at home? If you were going to choose a name for a completely new football club, I think there are better options in the frame.

rangers got their wish of playing in england. berwick is in england.
