no greatest hits or combi's just your all time favourites. if it takes off, i'll collate results. don't slag off anybody else's selections, each to their own music and era. Mine in no particular order

1/ fleetwood mac - rumours
2/ bob seger - stranger in town
3/ meatloaf - bat out of hell
4/ deacon blue - fellow hoodlums
5/ lynyrd skynyrd - lynyrd skynyrd (pronounced leh-nerd skin-erd)

Have to disagree with you sofia.
The Human League were incredibly innovative, writing pop hits like Don't You Want me but issuing alongside them instrumental versions that have stood the test of time better.
The most interesting and innovative act of their generation, had they been on Factory records and never sold a record they would be up there with Joy Division.

Excellent album - have seen them a couple of times at a small venue near me - they brought out a new version of the album recorded 'live' in a small American radio station, where they played the entire album live, and a few other tracks. Boguth it at the concert and got the CD signed by Andy Powell too.

Yes The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk from 1986, this band was so underrated and way ahead of their time, they did perfect pop in there early years with "Today and "Its My Life" and moved on ending up as one of the most influential bands of their era with Coldplay/Radiohead ripping them off big time from 1988's "Spirit Of Eden"
