This weekend see the start of the grand slam of darts, the format is a groups start (four in a group) two from each group go through, there are eight groups.
My tip for the winner of the competition is the youthful looking Dutchman Michael Van Gerwin at a mouth watering 150/1,
he is availible at 11/2 to win his group (A) this should be taken aswell.
I have already had my bets and if all things come off Christmas time will be a lot happier in the Huggy household.

Dear God, if this tip comes in it will be THE very best ever seen on here and no mistake.

The guy's been a massive disappointment since his, erm, breakthrough, around 5 years or so ago in the BDO Masters. No, don't laugh missus.

There was a lot of fanciful talk on the Darts Forum at the time by some 'judges' I won't embarrass here that MVG would win a minimum 5 world titles in the following ten years. He was subsquently knocked out in the 1st round of the Lakeside championship, and since his disastrous move to the PDC his record in the Majors is lamentable. Even worse than his fellow Dutch darting prodigy Jelle Klassen in the PDC if that's possible. The reasons are pretty tiresome as well.

I hope both of those players can eventually mature, find their feet in the PDC and be competitive, but on all known form they've got it all to do. Admittedly the format of the competition is one that gives the outsiders and pool game losers a sniff of a chance, but I'd personally be looking for more than 150/1.

Bst of British luck with the bet though Huggy. You will go into history of you land this one !!

A front row seat at the darts is one of the few freebies she's yet to scoop up this year. Maybe waiting for Ally Pally?
