Can someone please tell me in idiot language how to post pictures on here.

First download a picture from the internet by right clicking on it and saving the image to your desktop.

Then, whilst logged on to you betfair account, open up any thread and click on the POST REPLY icon.

When the reply window opens click on the INSERT PHOTO icon.

A PHOTO MANAGER window will open.

In this window, click on the UPLOAD PHOTO icon and a navigation window will open.

Somewhere in here you will be able to navigate to the image you downloaded earlier to your desktop.

Double click it and then hit UPLOAD.

You then have to wait a few hours for it to be approved by Betfair's moderators.  When it has been passed you can post it on the forum.

post reply /  insert photo / upload photos / browse for files / (click on a picture file on your pc) / open / star upload / finished /

have a brandy and soda and a panatella while the image police approve the photo - then on a thread

post reply / insert photo / select photo / post reply

Is there a way to post an image,without having to wait (hours) for the moderator's say-so?

upload it.  right click and copy image location.  then paste between {img}{/img} but with square brackets

How do you do all that coloured writing stuff ?

I think the forum resizes certain pictures down to thumbnail.  I will investigate further, but for instance I uploaded Lee Westwood as a 20K pic which was displayed OK, but a 40K Micky Adams got shrunk down. 

Don't know about the colours.

I've seen your photo used on a poker forum with the words "die, slowrollers, die"

slowroller: poker term for player with an unbeatable hand, who takes a very long time to reveal the hand when betting is complete, prolonging the agony of the loser.

does anyone know why some pictures uploaded view small, others large?  the original pictures all look ok.
