25-30 minutes is not a distance, it's a measurement of time.
If snow drifted to 6 feet deep you couldn't get there in 25 to 30 minutes.

I ask because another member of the Norfolk Massive is on the 'middle lane driving' thread.
As Norfolkians, we have no motorway, and the nearest one to me, the M11, is only two lanes at my end.

Nearest motorway in the UK to me is about 2,000 miles, give or take.
M11 about 60 miles, I think some of us live next door to each other and don't know it 
M20 junction 10 2 miles, junction 9 about 3 or 4 miles
do you mean by road or as the motorcyclist flies after he's hit the central reservation at 140?
I have a house in Cornwall that is over 100 miles from the nearest motorway that being the M5.There is the A30 mind duel carriageway great driving road except for the area called Temple...........a gridlocked nightmare in the summer!

40 miles to Huntingdon, then another 16 on the A14 gets me to the top of the M11.

Just checked - Jack Hacksaw lives in a 3-bed, 60's semi-det. with small but tidy front garden, drive and brown council rubbish bin. He (or wife?) drives a yellow Nissan Micra and they have young children with trampoline in the rear garden. The greenhouse seems to be out of use. The house last sold in 2007 and there is an outstanding mortgage on the property.

I can see the M1 from our house, luckily can`t hear it.
