Can you please stop using CAPS for all your thread titles. It's quite uncomfortable on the eye (in my opinion).

I agree with History Maker. Thread titles in bold are a pain in the arse. I ignore most of them.
It probably wouldn't be so bad if Betfair hadn't decided to put thread titles in bold after the May 6th fiasco. Bold and caps is just overkill. [Doesn't apply to Do wah of course. He has special dispensation from the pope to use caps. Everyone else should be shot!] |

The occasional one doesn't bother me - mr winkle's film vote thread, for example. All of them being in caps is quite irritating though.

The silly thing is it doesn't actually make them stand out more. Quite the opposite. Caps are slower to read.
A couple of asterisks either side of the title is far more effective in my opinion. |

I know I'm right about this mr winkle. It's all to do with the way the brain interprets visual signals.
Asterisks are far more eye-catching than caps. Trust me. Try it for the next placepot and you'll see what I mean. |

I agree with History Maker and MOMM wholeheartedly.
They are a pain, look messy and make it hard to scan down the forum and pick out threads. MOMM is correct, it is actually harder to read (due to the way the brain works) and hence I skip 90% of them. I was lucky to happen across the film votes one but I missed several of the first categories. And they don't stand out more - especially when there are so many. And it should apply to Do Wah. I must be the only one who finds him tedious and unfunny. |
