Seems the French National Front has polled higher than any other party,doesn't mean a great deal of course but seems Le Pen's daughter is carrying the mantle and French have simply had enough of millions of north africans entering their land.
It's reported as a "shock" by the BBC,quite why any gains by far rigt parties are always a shock i've no idea,seems the leftys and Guardian lot can't have anyone with an alternate opinion than their own.Maybe if the BNP sorted themselves out we could also have a true opposition voice in the uk.

A good thing in theory but surely it just means more of them trying to get over here until we finally find a backbone too
Le Pen got to the last two in the voting a few years back - shouldn't be that much of a shock to them.
Wouldn't be a massive shock if she went all the way...Sarkozy not very popular.

it has now been revealed that the Turks told the French that Abdel Malik Petitjean was a serious attack risk, and warned French authorities on June 29th. What utter incompetence.
To be fair to the French, they put a tag on him. There are tags on the more expensive items in my local supermarket, and they've never beheaded anyone, so they are proven to work. Maybe the battery died.
Turkey warned France on the 29th of June that this chap was a danger, France failed their public.
On the news they said the parents went to the state and said their son was going to hurt people, do something.

You might reasonably want to minimise the possible people who might do such things, but Merkel thinks the solution is to add millions of them. I can see a fault there.

We all know we are fighting a losing war unless governments are prepared to get inside mosques. Impossible task unless.............
