It's in the news today about prositution and how they are changing the law so the 'sex worker' (who happens to be mostly female) gets carte Blanche due to the fact some are coerced.
If a woman sells sex then she isn't prosecutable while the purchaser is. This I suspect is due to the fact many women are coerced, so why not treat the selling of sex as punishable by law until coercion can be proven? At which time the charges dropped and the charges of coercion started. The way they are going about it leaves females to simply offer temptation on a no loss basis if caught while the man is hung out to dry. |
