Crags is correct, it was Zorro and I don't recall him ever being involved in owt like that, not his style at all I wouldn't have thought. Crags, remember when he did a piece in The Racing Post about theracingforum. He thought Daylight was giving stars for each posts merits, not realising that when you got to Listed or Classic winner status it was because of the amount of posts you made, that was funny and he got absolutely slaughtered for it but took it in his usual laconic manner.

Of course I remember it, Slippy. Ian Davies started the thread about it on TRF, that thread is still there in the archives and I still read it from time to time.
Our old pal Gamble made many posts on it.

I.D. got kicked out in the end I think Crags, I didn't used to visit for ages so no idea what happened but he obviously must have freaked out a bit. I liked the chap personally, I met a good few of them from there at the races, remember Kathy? She was a right nutcase, not a nice one either, sly and vitriolic with it and gave DL and his missus LRM no end of grief. I must get in contact with gamble this week to see how he is doing, his health wasn't that great last year.

Ian is a good man,IMO. He tried to buy the forum from LRM, but it ended up under the ownership (and for free, I think) of David. And just look at the place now, full of flashing logos for bookies sites and other such shyte.
Poor Craig must be spinning in his grave. Please give my best wishes to Gamble, Slippy, don't think he's posted anything on TRF this year, hope he's ok.
