Not seen quite a few of these, but the standard is abysmal  "(BBC2 answer to Desmonds)" I can't imagine

For me Bread is the benchmark though. Not only is it not funny, it's self-righteous and sanctimonious

I absolutely loathed Shelley, so despite not seeing The Nineteenth hole, I find it hard to believe it was worse than Shelley (unless is was written by Carla Lane in which case - I'll defer judgement)
