... with some gammon and peas.

And do you know something, NO-ONE can stop me, least of all The Pope and any teddy bears named M*h*mm*d.

Jamie Oloiver can't stop me, and neither can the army of people employed in non-jobs telling other people to eat five pieces of fruit a day.

Ye Gods, not even Iron man Nick 'Leona' Clegg can stop me

Not even the captain of Sussex and his disgraceful declaration yesterday can stop me.

And it's no good the Sky Copter taking to the air to try and broadcast the footage to the nation - my curtains are all drawn.

Once challenged a school mate to a roast potato-off at junior school. Luckily our friends were only too happy give theirs away so we could make a real go of it.

It saddens me to report that I lost, managing 17 to my mate's 19. Good times.

Ahh, what a truly FANTASTIC night that was. Is it really five years ago?  It was cold and it rained and I felt like an actor, and I though of Ma2005 but I still ate the lot.

And there's NO WAY on Allah's green earth that I would have shared a single roast potato with the ragamuffins who are currently terrorising the beautiful city of Munich.

The city that gave up the futuristic Olympic Stadium (for 1972), the various magnificent BMW buildings and businesses, the immaculate Ice Madchens of Lufthansa, all now put at risk.

I've celebrated that night every September 17th since, bloody furious to find even the instigator, nay founder of such a great event hasn't bothered to commemorate it until this year. Mzakes me wonder why I bothered.

I fear you are getting ahead of yourself Roger. The 'great event' isn't even due to be repeated until its 10th Anniversary on 17th Sep 2020. I was intending to bring the matter to the public's attention around 12 months ahead of that date, and had lined up any number of commercial partners, such as Adidas, BMW and Greggs to help promote it globally. Alas, your peremptory act has now driven them all away, and I am left to shake my head and SCREAM at the outcome.

Quite honestly, this betrayal has left me feeling violated, and badly in need of a cleansing hot bath. I should add of course that it will be my SECOND hot bath of the day, which I daresay is two more than most of the recidivists and ragamuffins on here. Naming no names obviously.

Kind regards

Weekly if I could afford it, and if my body could absorb them without keeling over forever. I used those pricey delicious ultra-rich,  'smothered in goose fat', "finest" type roast potatoes that you see in the supermarkets in oblong-shaped silver foil dishes.

Good lad Bito. While you're at it, report me to my doctor would you please? Tell her she needs to give me a full body examination ASAP. I've been trying to get her to get me out of my clothes for a year now with no luck.

I'm surprised nobody saw fit to salute the true vulgarian acquainted to Verdis Quo.  What did this formidable gentleman do after eating his challenge-winning eighteenth roast potato?  Did he collapse to the floor clutching his stomach in pain?  Did he run to the lavatory to vomit?  Not a bit of it for this fine fellow, he celebrated the victory by eating another one.
