good to see this thread back. A Meatloaf house prices thread is also well overdue.
I forgot about him, he wasn't that old I don't think maybe about 50 ish. Missing in action for probably 3 or 4 years now I would say. He used to post fairly often on horse racing as well as here. Just a brief point on the poker software story: I believe that five of the six players actually received second place prizes and not just their money back. It started out as a bit of a laugh on the micro stakes tables: everyone going all-in on the first hand for a coin-flip gamble. Because of the glitch, however, the site paid out something like two-hundred percent of the pot on each game. Considering said games only lasted just a few seconds, it's easy to understand how such huge sums were involved.
I understand that some of the players had their accounts frozen before they could withdraw the funds; some were intimated by the thought of legal action and gave the money back voluntarily; and a few took the view that they had every right to keep their winnings and stuck it out.
Rumour has it that they kept the money.

chilin dude was one of the sng gang and he shoved all his money that he gained on KJ Choi to win that weekends golf tourney...he won and chilin got to keep his winnings...was getting on for 20k if memory serves me correctly.

Original name northernlad5 (not northern lad, unless that's another of his spares) was posting on chit chat as 'bbc's embarrassed dad' a few weeks ago, then came to his home forum, politics, where he responded to a question I left on there for northernlad5.
But I had never 'spoken'to 'bbc's embarrrassed dad' before. But I knew by the reply who it was, northernlad5.
He obviously forgot which account he had open, and responded to my post.
Last week, Irish_Celtic appeared on the bottom of a thread insulting somebody for no reason at all, which is typical northernlad5 behaviour.
I'd have missed it if I wasn't searching for something by his only friend in the whole world, the fake major, Menelaus. The thread was put back on top of the forum and since then, others have spotted other posts by him, and come to the same conclusion.
And by the looks of it, he doesn't like it. But there were over 20 of us being called 'Larry' every time we posted, for about 6 months.
'Larry' refers to 'Larrys Codpiece' an old name of EeternalOptimist.
EO wrapped Menelaus and NL in knots, so every time somebody agreed with EO, they got labelled as an alias of EOs, and called 'Larry'.
This meant that EO would have to be awake 24/7 to achieve all these posts by 20+ aliases, but this didn't put them off, for 6 whole months.
