East London and no, I don't like it. What a ****ing shitholee. I'd be off tomorrow if possible. My house and garden are fine - its only when I open my front door the problems start

North London and not a posh bit. I fvcking hate it and hate all the bl00dy immigrants.
There, I've said it.
Once the kids have left primary school I'm taking them off to Dorset or Devon.

Dulwich, South East London. It's a decent place to live, nobody bothers anyone else. People just get on with their business without hassling each other and are always polite in the course of their day.

Portsmouth, and it's OK, plenty worse places. It has a bit of an attitude which can sometimes lead to problems. Spent yesterday in Brighton and the difference in atmosphere is huge.
All in all, for a confirmed townie, Pompey's not bad.

I live next to Danson Park, Bexley in a cheap house on a low income but its great.
Next to 180 acres with endless fields/meadows/woods/parks nearby.
I'm 12 minutes from real Countryside and 25 mins by train to the heart of one of the 2 most vibrant, exciting Cities in the World with its endless attractions. I live half-a-mile from the edge of South London and the stimulation maked me feel 35 at 56 years old.:]

I live in Heeley Green in Sheffield, really like it. Funny city is Sheffield, really posh and wealthy at one end but an absolute $hithole the other end.

Winchester, very agreeable city apart from the traffic, property prices mentalistic but many good places to eat and drink, an independent cinema, annual arts festival and a hospital that literally saved my life a few years back. Stick.

TheBaron 18 Jul 15 19:08 That's the trouble with Norfolk, a lovely part of the country spoilt by the white trash from London selling their council houses and moving in. Shame.
That all you got...boy?

Just outside of Taunton, it's ok but so many new-build houses going up, loss of green belt, locals not being properly consulted. No plans for any new roads, just stick a couple of roundabouts in, gridlocked roads now ! Big strain on infrastructure, it's too much too soon, overcrowded schools, big demand on health services etc. etc......so pretty much the same problem as a lot of other places !
We plan on moving next year somewhere in or around Exeter, but same problems down there, so at the moment we are a bit undecided whether to move or not, most likely we will. But I would hate to leave here and get it wrong and regret moving.

Loughor, West Glam., near the estuary bridges. Great place to live, fantastic walks and countryside, Force L'Arse about 20 mins away. Best move I ever made.

Extremely low on immigrants, low crime rate, very nice houses, hardly any flats, 25 mins to central London by train, beautiful green spaces (Danson parks a beaut), decent local shops and Bluewater 10 mins up the A2.

5 miles North of Leicester, nice countryside for miles around, currently being carved up for 6-7 thousand houses
Nice, as we make a concerted effort to ignore the sh1thole in the city, multi-culture created by Vaz,Soulsby, and the corrupt labour council that despise our country so much.

What Spellin doesn't seem to realise is that the locals in West Norfolk regard him in the same way he did about a family of Somalis arriving in Newham.
I bet they're on a forum somewhere complaining about the poor white trash from the slums of East London lowering the property values.
The fact is no one wants his sort living in their area.

TheBaron I'm on Neighbourhood Watch duty tonight. A family from East London have moved into the village. You can't be too careful can you?
You're right, they're probably africans or asians.

Village in North Essex. Only a few immigrants, although the local town has now got a couple of Polish shops. Last 10 years has seen a large infiltration of cockerneys though. New estate resembles a taxi rank between 6pm and 6am.

A couple of miles west of Taunton. Only 30 m above sea level, which is rubbish for snow. Trying to win enough money to move back to the Blackdown Hills, south of Taunton, where you have enough elevation to get the lanes blocked with drifts in decent winters.
