send me a pm with your phone number, lux. Will get in touch. Give me a few days though as I often don't spot private messages immediately. You still doing the Martial Arts? I used to do a bit of boxing in my youth.

He's not heard it. Haven't seen him for around 6 years.

That boxing thing is way older than six years
I thought I'd seen the occasional post from lux in the last year or two, but maybe not. I used a similar name to his on another forum as I'm a fan of the late Lux Interior - Great showman, RIP. |

I`ve still got all the original Beatles, Wings, McCartney, Lennon, Harrison and Ringo records (lps) all in very very good condition - do you think they are worth anything Kenny? Records seem to be making a comeback.
|
|
By:
Worth nothing.
Millions of them out there. |
|
By:
"Collectors who buy Beatles albums want pieces in excellent condition. With The Beatles' White Album (released 1968) there is a number on each cover: collectors want low numbers." Mr Shirley said: "We are talking £4,000-£10,000 for those numbered one to 100."
Condition with records is everything. It was common to write your name on the sleeve when you took a record to a party, Mr Hawkins said, but that will have devalued it. It is important that both the vinyl and sleeve are in good condition. "Holding the vinyl in a strong light will usually show any signs of damage to the surface," he said. The second key condition of vinyl is rarity. For example, the Beatles sold millions of records, but finding a copy of any of their singles in unplayed condition is almost impossible, so collectors pay a premium for them. Mr Shirley said a copy of the first Beatles album, Please Please Me (1963), was first pressed on the gold and black Parlophone label but it soon switched to yellow and black. If you have a stereo black and gold copy in mint condition it is worth £5,000 or more. |

I do still lurk around these waters from time to time in one guise or another... Nice to see you're still peddling that Fyffes gag... ![]() |

When cannyman first told that gag I think Terry Butcher was the Captain of England at the time.
