if you wait until near the time of the 1st race (Triumph) you should get them cheap enough. hopefully someone else can help you out and get some before the day

Nothing wrong with Best Mate; viewing not as good but at least you can move aorund and you haven't been ripped off for £60 for the privlege of not being able to get to a bar. Plenty of Best Mate tickets available from touts or people with spares on the day - don't pay more than face value.

I went in the Best Mate enclosure one year and did not really enjoy it to be honest but as has been said tickets should be around for face value or near to it.

The problem with tout tickets nowadays is that entrance is by barcode.
This means that your ticket may have already gone through the barrier and brought outside again - obviously it won't go through again and you are stuck with a duff ticket.
If you do buy a tout ticket I would either buy one at the station or in town as early as possible (so it is less likely to have gone through the machine) or get one just outside the entrance and use it straight away (so you can go back to the tout if it doesn't work).
The best option is if you can find a non-tout who has a spare.
