Off the top of my head .. Bowman's / WT Guntrip / E Coombes / Mecca. Are Sunderland's still going?

There was an agency in Hove called TBA who would run systems, follow tipsters, 1st or 2nd show, anything you wanted.

Somehow I got 2k off Bowman's in their last week. The cheque had bounced 4 times, I think what I did right was to not go to the Racing Post about it, when everyone else did they collapsed.

Regvarney; Guntrips had a shop up at Brockley, by the Jack, last time I was up there.

H & K Commisions was a good East End firm that I worked for. Nice people; sold out to Corals in two lumps.

Powers had a few shops in North London, used to lay a bet and were sharp.

Victoria Sporting and Manny Bernstien. Manny used to make a mint out of novelty postal football bets from Scandanavia. Ahead of his time!
