Have you never seen him before MD ?

He does all his own stunts and has broken bones all over his body.

If you watch the end credits they sometimes show the stunts that went wrong.

Oh yes I've seen him before BC, but the fight scene seemed so incredibly fast (there were 3 of them and it lasted 10 mins) that I wondered if some sort of trick photography was being used.

Jackie Chan v shall we say John Conteh, both at their peak.

Nothing disallowed apart from the usual stuff, gouging of eyes etc. Who'd win?

The boxer imo.

Jackie Chan would destroy Mike Tyson, never mind Conteh. Honestly, I am not being a pr1ck or a kung fu kiddie.

A boxer once told me that a boxer would always defeat a karate type, although I suppose he may have been biased. Just hit him on the bridge of the nose was his advice.

Tyson at his peak wouldn't have beated Ali at his peak imo, athough it would have been one hell of a fight.

I'm not saying he would in a boxing fight but a no holes barred brawl i think he probably beats anyone.

There is **e kung fu and there is really dangerous kung fu. Jackie Chan would break Tyson's arm at the elbow in around one second. Honestly.

No he wouldn't. Ali wasn't at his peak when he knocked out George Foreman, who was a lot bigger than Tyson.

Ali was too quick for Tyson, who would have got cut all all over the face with his come forward style. Ali at his peak would dodge 90% of the punches that Tyson threw, and the other 10% wouldn't do a lot of damage to a slick mover. And when Tyson missed, he got mad, if you get mad and go steaming in you've got no balance, if you've got no balance, you lose power and you're easy to knock over, no matter how big you are.

If you look at Tysons opponents, sure, he won a lot of fights, but the heavyweight division was on its arse when he came along, he didn't beat anybody as good as Frazier, Norton or Foreman at their peak, never mind Ali.

Try and catch a chap called Tony Jaa, has done a couple of films that I know of, Ong Bak and Warrior King. Does all his own stunts and choreography, uses no wires, makes Chan look very pedestrian. He is the best since Bruce Lee imo. Have a look..........

That is very impressive. I see that Chan rates him very highly.

It seems that everyone rates him very highly, which is in itself unusual as he is grounded in Muay Thai rather than the Kung Fu background that most film chop-socky exponents derive from.
It's surely only a matter of time before he turns in a suitably wooden performance in his first english language film before being catapulted into the big-time a la Jet Li.
