Hi guys,

Doing some travelling and will be away for a few months....was wondering if its possible to use Betair in these countries.

Could use the income of a couple days trading a week to fund my little trip.

I know someone who said they were in Chile and were able to log on but not allowed to place a bet :O

Apparently its okay to place bets from a purple account but I've been on betfair for years and really dont want to switch.

Anyone clued up on this?

Thanks

ELG

Itching to go to colombia this year. was looking to fly london indirect to bogota, then to cartegena and Santa Marta and Tayrona Nat Park. what time of year would you recommend going and how much would return flights cost roughtly from bogota to Cartagena.
The flight from the uk looking pricey so was hoping to get a cheap domestic flight. also would you book domestic flight before leaving home? cheers in advance

It will be fine

USA banned, Turkey banned, China banned.

Every where else, all good.

As long as your hotel does not have a US IP provider, it will be sweet

Well the weather doesnt change much during the year, although probably a bit better around june/july time. Bogota you will always get rain, and the coast will always be sunny - Cartagena & Santa Marta are great (I own a house in Santa Marta), Parque Tayrona is a beautiful place to spend a few days.

Flights to and from Colombia are more expensive than to mainstream S American destinations although you should get something for around 500 quid if you look around. Despegar.com is a good latin american flight search, often with cheaper flights (not sure if it is in English though)

In June/July in Santa Marta there is the fiesta del mar, with concerts, parties etc so you might want to look into that.

I love Colombia so if you need more info, places to see/stay, restaurants - anything really, then just ask.

and regarding domestic flights, the national airline Avianca often has offers, and their competition Aerorepublica copies these so keep an eye out for them in the months before heading over there with a view to booking. If not then dont worry, there is always availability.
