Well said that man. Those girls who have come back aren't exactly old either.
|

fai enough but you wouldn't have a fedex or nadal coming back after a couple of years and winning a major straight away

Don't underestimate freshness. Most modern sportspeople borderline overtrained on a permanent basis.

Where's the eroticism gone? wearing shorts under a skirt......should be against the rules.

Anybody remember the Hungarian - Andrea Temesvari?

to be fair, I'd rather not see Safina in a thong

Sadly the Flea is right.
Henin and Clijsters in the final, having both come back from retirement is a terrible state of affairs. the only immediate hope of redemption lies in the hands of a handful of upcoming german girls. |

The 'W' in the title gives it away a bit, tbh.

they're hardly just lasses are they
henin has won her last 3 french opens hasn't she? and clijsters was always a top player and neither are old |

no it's not the only terrible state of affairs was that they lost the motivation to play in the first place had agassi and sampras retired at the same age, you wouldn't be moaning when they came back and played finals and don't forget agassi basically disappeared for a year anyway when he had his problems |
|
By:
but yeah wta is indeed a load of old ********

All true.
However it makes it look like the rest were just p1ssing about moonballing each other till the serious players were coaxed back out of retirement. Vaidisova should have been setting the sports world on fire in their absence. in reality she was more interested in shopping, c0ck and fashion shows. |

the rest were moonballing each other LOL
i'm really not looking forward to those womens matches to start the night sessions in a few weeks that dokic match still gives me nightmares |

The AO will be good. I just hope at least one of the Belgians is a bit burnt out or something.
They need a new Sharapova-esque star to set things alight. I think it might happen funnily enough. Oh and i'll be watching muzza as well, not just WTA :p |
