Think someone on an earlier post said it could be purchased on dvd quite cheaply.Which is worth doing imo as you'll see many jokes each time you watch that you missed first time.Great series!

every once in a while i start a thread about early doors, as i think it's one of the best shows i have ever seen, and yet it's not that popular, which is unbelievable to me.
one of the best jokes....the two coppers telling the story about the flasher in the car, and they asked the woman.. was he in a state of arousal and she said no, he was in a ford escort. brilliant. |

was on a weekend away in Liverpool back in 2007, and got each series for 3.99 each, bargain, i have since got my two brothers and my dad the two series as x mas presents, needless to say they love it

A Classic comedy. Have both series on DVD. Can watch again and again - and still laugh like a drain at the brilliant dialogue,acting and situations. A great mix of comedy and pathos.One of the best series ever made imo.
