WAFLOS.

6 films. 2 Game shows and 1 Dancing on Ice 'special'

What a forward thinking, brave and major contributor to this country's culture this shambles of a station has become. They're penniless. Can't afford to make anything for their prime day and prime time slots beyond some rehash of blind date and some cheap gameshow that only needs the word 'celebrity' stuck in front of it to make it a "water cooler" programme.

Mark my words, by this time next year ITV plc will collapse. Good riddance.

Too true - they keep repeating those pointless Hugh Grant movies too - this week Notting Hill next week About a Boy week after the Love Actually - on a three week cycle.

Take Me Out plumbed new depths in British broadcasting history last week - made Blind Date look sophisticated.

a station that relys on the X factor for survival has no moral authority to survive imho

I have it on good authurity that x factor is the only thing keeping them afloat. just. cowell still takes a huge cut.

They can not survive. Unless they completely re evaluate the way they make programmes they're stuffed.

Wasting huge amounts of money on shows like IACGMOOH (long past its sell by date) and big budget dramas like Poirot that was so successful the Boxing day episode sold precicely NO advertising space (watch it again every advert break was filled with trailers for upcoming itv shows!)

Celebrity Mr. & Mrs. uses either celebrities already on the payroll (Jack P Shepherd, Holly Willoughby) or attention junkies who'd turn up at the opening of an envelope for a fiver (Boris Becker).
