Won £2 million as part of a 13 man syndicate that scooped £25 million as a 17 year old in 1997. Police investigating, but 'no suspicious circumstances'. Had folk camping outside his house just after the win, apparently. Maybe they though he'd bung them a few grand to leave. Said on his Bebo page that his interests were 'basically not leaving the house'. Sad story.

Sad indeed. Sounds like an unfortunate but all too typical epitaph to chav Britain over the last 15 years.

how is it witty to repeat the same thing every few weeks

surely wit is meant to be original no?
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 12:43
and annie, it's the only thing he ever says to me lol

like a broken record

i say something about myself and he comes out with that exact line every time

sounds like the desperate attempts of someone who used to be funny imo

it saddens me a bit tbh

maybe he's had some personal problems
By:

But it was the first time I read it, yellowbird - so it was funny to me.

sorry then

the guy has come out with that line to me on numerous occasions and hardy gets a response

must be off one of his fav tv programmes or something

i used to be his biggest fan then the cracking one liners suddenly dried up and he's come to this

i hope he finds his feet again i really do

maybe dementia has kicked in early?

canaryboy, if it's so unoriginal, and has been done to death,.....why respond. It's just banter, is it not?
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 12:55
because it saddens me to see such a fall from grace

i still remember all the genius gags

now all we get is repeats and fairly unoriginal ones too :(

ffs canaryboy,it was a throwaway quip that tickled a couple of peoples fancy, now your making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I'm sure he does'nt really want you dead, this isnt real life its a tinternet forum stop being so touchy.

By:

i thought maybe the joke was to repeat the same joke but nobody seemed to notice

maybe he has some memory illness?

oh come on canary, it was impeccable timing, surely you've got to give him that
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 13:02
it was indeed funny the 1st time sib

after the 20th time you begin to wonder about the desperation

i'm sure you have a comedian you admire and wouldn't appreciate them endlessly using the same material
By:
sibaroni
When: 07 Jan 10 13:03
Its still funny here.
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 13:03
yes yes i give him that but i've heard it straight away enough times now

i say something about myself and he instantly types that line

after the 20th time it loses its comedic edge
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 13:03
because you haven't read it 20 times sib
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 13:04
hearts, the first time it was funny yes

when the person says it repeatedly you have to wonder...
By:
canaryboy
When: 07 Jan 10 13:05
maybe now people have finally laughed, he'll get some new material

one can but hope
