I lost al respect for him when he sat on the GMTV sofa and told us all to**our energy bill tariffs.
2 weeks later he sat on the same sofa and said whatever you do, do not**your energy bill tariffs. |

Watch, LW, I would rather stick pins in my eyes.

I never had respect for him. He has seen an easy market of mugs (myself included) and is exploiting that as much as the higher echelons of the financial market. Boyakashah

Watch, LW, I would rather stick pins in my eyes. Can't believe it took so long to say. Agreed. |

The icesave business did it for me. Promoting it as the best buy and a safe investment because of some supposed compensation fund, ignoring the fact if they went bankrupt the chances are that Iceland itself would be bankrupt and there wouldn't be any compensation. Then he backtracked when pressed on Channel 4 news when it went tits up. Well over a year on and Iceland are going to have a referendum on whether any compensation will be paid. I despise the guy

I like him and his website.

His biggest c ock up was when he advised everyone to put their life savings into icelandic banks. The huge slice of humble pie he was trying to swallow when it all went tits up was a delight to watch.
But like idiots that follow tipsters blindly, people do the same with this t osser |

was on the tv this morning promoting Burger King and Pizza Hut offers at the same time as a Weight Watchers offer. The irony was not even hinted at. Boring, tedious, irritating pr1ck.

Some aspects of his site are fine, I used it recently when transferring my isa. But it's his smug attitude and the way he promotes all these ways to save a few quid here and there like a tight tw@t gets me. Not to mention the forum over there, people act like they've won the lottery if they save 10p down the supermarket on something
|

I find him an irritating pr1ck as well, obviously wants a TV career as a money-saving expert,
too many mistakes already for comfort. Worse than Adam Faith when he tried to give financial advice - he went bust ! |

What do you want if you don't want money?

^ very quick there with a good one-liner !

All those sits get on my. 'Have alook at Debenhams, put in code AW$^&%&&^' say Cheese, pull yer pants down and wiggle and YOU can save 12.5% on all purchases of Ogil NUmber 7'.
Ooh, dont go to this or that, go here, it takes you an hour to fill the form in and by the time youve been set up, another company is cheaper. WE were so much happier when we knew far less |

I guess your burning £5 notes to keep yourself warm atm.
