my sister works in Abu Dhabi .... thats where the jobs/money is as far as I am aware.
she has a pretty high standard of life (I have visited) and has enjoyed the 3 years so far.

I was told about the imminent downfall of Dubai this time last year by a visiting friend who was working there. He now lives in Aus. It's dead there.
