Aged 80 + worried sick about their fuel bills ,unreal. Anybody that age who has been paying gas and elec bills all their life should be given it
for nothing .. The amount of money owed to the utility companies
by knockers and dodgers runs into millions ,,,the**rie is a joke

I dont know the details of whats available but my mum is 88 and she cant believe what they pay her. Every time I speak to her she's thrilled because they have paid her an extra few quid.

I have been involved in the recovery of unpaid gas bills etc, the amount of money people run up is incredible ,and Im not talking about poor people .was at a 1/2 million pound house 2k unpaid bill ,the mother didnt
seem to give a foook about it ,of course with 2 under 5s knows she wont be cut off ,crazy, I would expect the door to be broke down and big men with spanners coming in ..

It's a slow train crash. Horrors introduced gently. I hope the oldsters have shot-guns,otherwise the second-level maggots will be feasting.

over 80s get $400 and have just received an extra £100 presumably because of the present exceedingly cold snap.they really dont do too badly tbh

yes but the elderly have thinner blood, feel the cold more and therefore run up larger heating bills. My last tens weeks has cost about £500, so feck knows how they live on that for a year.

I give my mum (aged 67) money every month - it's the least I can do cos she's done so much for me it's untrue (remortgaged the house and worked in a call centre to pay my school fees).

I have been intending to speak to her for a little while now to ask her how she's gonna cope with the increased fuel bills. This fred might be the kick up the backside I needed to ask her the question.
