My contract expires shortly. The Nokia N900 seems to be getting rave reviews. Is this the way forward for me? Need good internet access, ta.

Nokia N series have been traditionally beset by software problems that will drive you to despair and I stand behind no man in my admiration for Nokias in general, they are all I will ever use.

GSMarena is a good website to see the latest phones and the ones in the pipeline.

Very in depth reviews.

Thanks Des, yes I understand that, but there was a brilliant review in Saturday's Mail, and also can't find any criticism on the 3 reviews I've looked at online.

N900 is more of a mini handheld computer than a phone. Do you really need all that extra stuff?

you can get a phone for 3 quid from tescoes. 10 pence a minute to your 5 favourite people. double that to your enemies which stops you from calling them.

This latest Nokia is supposed to be just as good as an I Phone, and I'm used to using Nokias. No real hurry, 2 months to decide.

it is, almost....

it's a bit big and clunky though. it does have a proper keyboard however, so if you think that's a plus then go for it.
