Has anyone else noticed that the following error seems to happen very frequently?

You deposit funds into your Betfair account (let's say £100 for example) and it appears on your bank statement as three deposits of £100 and two withdrawals of £100. The bottom line is correct, a total of one hundred pounds has gone from your bank to Betfair, but it has been arrived at via five transactions instead of one.

This has happened several times to me. Anyone else?

Lucky you Sea! :)

I have never been shortchanged on the deal, but it concerns me that Betfair seem to have the authority to withdraw funds from my bank account without consent.

I did enquire once to the helpdesk and was told it was just an error which had been corrected.

Which is true, I suppose, but it still concerns me it's an error that happens quite a lot.

Afternoon Nirv, how are you Sir? :)

I haven't seen the F A Cup quiz thread yet, but I will go and have a read now. I am afraid I am still without a internet connected desktop computer and, although I love this little netbook, to be competitive with it in a quiz is nigh on impossible as the keys are about a quarter the size of my fingertips, there is no mouse, and you can only see a small portion of the Betfair screen.

I will definitely watch with interest from the stands, though. :)

Oh, I see. Pity about that, should a good competition. Hope you can get fixed up for the next Quiz Major. GT said he's planning it for April.

Talking about quizzes, though, has made me feel like hosting one again. :)

I'm going to try and think of another sporting theme.
