Cat cost more than sofa but has slightly higher running costs.

However, sofa would cost more to replace than cat.

Not sure what my best option is.

The sofa doesn't follow you around the kitchen and start meowing for food once the fridge is opened.

Therefore I can conclude: You must kill the cat.
Report Bamboo • January 4, 2010 8:11 PM GMT
No brainer imo .The cats got to go i`m afraid otherwise you might get used to the smell like an old person and then your clothes will smell of it

Just spotted a flaw in my argument.

Cat cost more AND has slightly higher running costs.

It's not looking good for the cat.

Had a friend with this problem, blurted in the pub that he was paying out £plenty notes a week for the cat trickcylcist to come round. Crystals on his**was the answer, (to the cat's problem not the owner)
Report the leaf • January 4, 2010 8:38 PM GMT
put the litter tray on the sofa.
Report Dobbo • January 4, 2010 8:39 PM GMT
Is the cat neutered?
Report mitchell downie • January 4, 2010 8:59 PM GMT
good question, all cats should be neutered or spayed. I'd be surprised if MissP has neglected to see to that.
Report Dobbo • January 4, 2010 9:00 PM GMT
Me too but cats peeing like that is so unusual.

No, actually she's as nature intended. She's an indoor cat and I want to breed her.
Report Dobbo • January 4, 2010 9:04 PM GMT
Having her spayed will cure the peeing then
Report Dobbo • January 4, 2010 9:04 PM GMT
Or rather not having her spayed is the cause
Report Prima Donna • January 4, 2010 9:04 PM GMT
what do you want to breed from her for, far too many pets needing homes?
Report everythings gone green • January 4, 2010 9:06 PM GMT

Most indoor cats stay indoors afaik.
Report Live Forever • January 4, 2010 10:12 PM GMT
Canny, I sometimes feel slightly guilty about cheap age gags but then again they are so easy and I'm lazy.
Report mitchell downie • January 4, 2010 10:13 PM GMT
sorry, you did say she was an indoor cat. hope you don't breef her too often. In fact why breed her at all? The country is satuated with cats looking for a good home, and that's the lucky ones. 1000's are starving and freezing on the streets.
Report mitchell downie • January 4, 2010 10:14 PM GMT
Well if it amuses you LF, that's the main thing.

Report mitchell downie • January 4, 2010 10:33 PM GMT
and why don't you get a cat lead and let her sniff the fresh air for once in her life?
Report TheRankingMissP • January 4, 2010 10:35 PM GMT
:) yes, we have one of those, believe it or not. She's not too keen on the great outdoors though.
Report mitchell downie • January 4, 2010 10:37 PM GMT
ok, fair enough, as long as she's tried it. :-)
