Been quite popular at the dogs and on the gallops for a while but are now filtering through the masses and therefore have lost their appeal. ^^ is right and the Barbour concession in Alders in Croydon has reduced them to about £100. Dont buy a long one and go for the cord collar IMO.

is that like the coat Wenger always wears?
my mate used to have a puffa jacket back in around 1990 (it COST £100 but was WORTH £300 cos he got it in the sale). is that the same thing?

No Billy, not a Wenger jacket at all. More slim line and understated but the snide ones won't keep you warm at all.

Had a green Barbour one when I was going racing all the time to keep the chill out on a cold crisp day at my local courses.

thanks Catford. nice to know what people are talking about.
The casuals are wearing North Face at the pub when I go to football now. I've no idea what is fashionable anymore, but I thought that was a hill walking sensible coat.
