soldier boy has just rang from afghanistan thats the 1st contact in about 17 days just glad to hear his voice.
he is on those patrols every day now, and says that they come under gunfire most days, says hes scared and excited by it in a strange way ,its obviously a military thing that you lads put up with, i am better off on the setee watching it thats enough for me. On a sad note a lad who he came through his training with and flew out there with a month or so ago, lost his leg below the knee and a finger in an explosion the other day.
another story was we sent him some parcels out a few weeks back which he hasnt recieved yet except for some waterproof gloves he requested , he had them 2 minutes before somebody swiped em,he says the army has got more light fingers in it than beautiful downtown liverpool

evening pox I'm delighted to learn that he's been in touch , also perversly that he is starting to enjoy it :)
nothing like a real contact to get the blood pumping and the heart going 150 to the minute :) He will be well looked after by the old sweats,that well looked after they nicked his gloves :0 once he gets home his heart will be pumping with all the ladies wanting a hero ;) on a side note whilst we were in barracks in germany me and my m8 went into the reme block,you used to leave your tumble driers(if you bought one)outside your room whilst in use to stop condensation and all that. I had a big knife,he cut the power to the block and we had ourselves a tumble drier,a couple of days later this reme lad came into our block with a plug and half a lead asking questions :^0 you had to be there. mores to the point pox,pour yourself a nip and have a dram for your laddie tonight ;) |

nice story hearts and i will do just that mate, gotta bottle of whisky for xmas so no better time to start it than now, just gotta get this one in though, the tumble drier you and your mate nicked, you didnt get caught for laundering did you
