The 'B' side of Hell Raiser by Sweet is a stonker, a very heavy track called 'Burning' which more typified the Sweet sound away from the Glam rock of Blockbuster for e.g

Doesn't qualify as the best ever but I have "Ballroom Blitz" by The Sweet, and, through some mess-up in production, it has a B-side of Perry Como singing the old Kodak ad song "Memories".

Surely We Will Rock You is more an album track than a B Side?

Okay it's on the B Side of We are the Champions but it's better known for kicking off News of the World!

A proper b Side is a track you only get on a single (until it eventually appears on a B Side compilation)?

Jeane by The Smiths, B side of This Charming Man, and funnily enough never appeared on any compilations. As far as I know the only place you could ever get it was as the B side of the 7" single.

It's a great song, (mind you both B sides of the 12" were also fantastic, Wonderful Woman and Accept yourself)

Rolling Stones - Paint it Black by far and away the best ever B side.
