Any idea? For example I sometimes wake up to text messages that have been sent to me the previous night, or get them at night when they were sent in the morning...

Annoying, can it be fixed?

Any idea of the problem though or are you just assuming? I don't want to fork out again, I hate spending cash on phones.

Is that Virgin mobile Phil? I'm betting it is as that's a common problem with them.

Happens a lot. Just change the clock on your phone to be 5 hours early. The added bonus is that sometimes you'll get texts before they've even been sent.

Turn phone off for an hour, with battery removed. Plug in and turn back on. Will re-register with network. Had same problem on my old phone once or twice, and doing this cured it.
