You never keep a nation on a state of hightened alert, you simply let it drop, get them more relxed then BOOM, a serious threat which makes everybody scared and you can bring in what ever you want. Then allow the threat to drop again before...... |

i'd love to see the intricate design of the "bomb" that failed to explode properly. all qaeda really have a lot to learn when it comes to making bombs. why did this dope wait until the plane was about to land before attempting detonation? surely 30, 00ft would've ensured maximum carnage? |

planes usually fly above water before landing, unless it was flying over a lot of land?
