Currently raining in southern Greenland. That's where the warm air has gone.
Same thing happened in the epic UK winter of 1962-3. Some extraordinarily low temperatures forecast for next week. Minus eleven for the English riviera: http://www.wzkarten.de/pics/Rmgfs1444.gif Let's hope somebody wraps up those palm trees on the Torquay seafront. |

Clear skies this morning but had 3/4 inches overnight. I'm off to work on a 5am train tomorrow (allegedly) and this isn't good :(
We've had about 18+ inches so far. There's a garden bench in our garden which shows you the fall. If I can be arshavinned I'll take a pic and show you. (Exciting huh?) |

By:
I drove up the A1 yesterday , and everywhere was clear until North of Wetherby .
BUT there has been overnight snow here , so I cannot say what has happened at Keighley ,which is possibly 50 miles away ... sorry. But I would think even if it had this 4 inches of snow it will be Okay . |
