I would have if I watched it.

Russel T Davies indulging himself again I'm afraid. I think we'll see a big improvement in the next series with Moffat running the show - best TV script writer in the country imo.

the return of the timelords could have been an amazing storyline
was there an actual episode/movie in the past about the time war? |
By:
Not since Eccleston. Is a bit ridiculous cause they talk about the timelords and the daleks destroying each other loads in it and all of a sudden the timelords turn evil at the end!
By:
I thought it was ok - especially the last 20 mins :^0
the lottery ticket was a nice touch imo :) |
By:
i didnt even watch it...but i can tell you it will have been awful!

The time war has been mentioned but never actually seen. I don't quite understand what happened to the Master in today's story. Did he disappear with the other time lords?
By:
Stopped watching it when I when Pertwee was the Dr.
By:
I didn't read that book, but I can tell you now, it's awful.
Sometimes chit-chatters can be remarkably dumb. |
By:
Russel T Davies is a**thats for sure.
By:
Moffat the much better writer of the two, his BLINK episode with Sally Sparrow was the best storyline in the last five years imo.
The fact he is writing the whole of the next series should mean a marked improvement on storylines, tonights was poor considering it was Tennants last. |
By:
It must bug Tennant that the best episode ever was on his watch, and he virtually missed it.
By:
Incidentally, after that episode I picked up a signed pic of Carey Mulligan plus a couple of doodles she did for charity. If she wins the Oscar they may well be hitting Ebay.

By:
I liked Girl in a Fireplace, the first Master cliffhanger and Gridlock
By:
If you look at all the storylines that Moffat wrote there is not a bad one amongst them, though it will be some achievement if he manages to write a whole series of really good ones.
By:
nah, thought it was great.

By:
i liked that one where they were stuck on some tour thing, and one of the passengers kept repeating everything everyone said

and then after a while, the passenger started saying what the doctor was saying before he said it :0

Liked the programme when Tom Baker was the Dr. Can´t say I have seen it much since although William Hartnell is always good to have up your sleeve as that question pops up in pub quizzes every now and then. David Thewlis would be a good Dr. though having said that.

By:
very disappointed with last night's...thought the plotline too ridiculous and rambling and over reliant on effects and flash bang stuff
By:
agree with few on here, stopped watching after tom baker , great stuff with hartnell, pertwee and baker, and peter cushing exellent in the films,

I thought it was vaguely intersting, though i;ve not watched since (the very excellent) Ecclestone left.
Good cast with the likes of John Simm etc but i hadn't realised how gay it had all become,in fact it's the campest piece of televison i think i've watched aside from the Graham Norton show. I guess they make decent use of a small budget though. |

why are grown ups talking about dr who you load of saddo,s

Why have you got a ridiculous name?
