Another £20 worth of beef, comes out of the oven like an old feckin boot, despite doing all the cooking suggestions, i would say i have tried to get a tender piece of beef 200 times and managed it about 20 times, why feckin bother.

Did you fry it in hot oil to seal the outside first and help keep the juices in, then roast in the oven? That would certainly help.

I have an M&S joint of beef in fridge that has 'use by' date of 29th December. Do you still think it would be ok to eat tonight?

Panasonic Genius combi microwave grill convection oven, best thing we ever bought for the kitchen.
Sounds like heresy but there is a beef joint program on it that is suberb. Joint done in half an hour. It mixes all three cookign methods and it comes out perfect.

Cows emit a substantial amount of greenhouse gasses so blame them on global warming.

BTW buy a roasting bag and meat thermometer, I always undercook my joints, slice up then put my missus' back in as she likes hers well done.

Listen I breed the best beef in england all mine are Herefords and they always are superb eating, they have just the right amount of fat,I have never had any complaints from any customers. Try some ask for real Hereford beef, its always tender and full of flavour.
I dont want them exterminated, not just yet!

:)

The best beef I ever had was in Itsu Sushi. It was seared around the edges but practically raw. Absolutely beautiful.

I think a lot also depends on how the cow has been handled. You get what you pay for, good quality reared, killed and aged beef costs money. Wasn't there a survey done that cows who are killed humanely gave more tenderised meat?

It was about 3 years ago in Canary Wharf, not even sure if I got the restaurant correct. Fook me I spent about £35 for my lunch and it didn't even fill me.
