Is Spirit Of My Weigh Chester Barnes? Good Lord-I'm not fit to lace his boots! I DID have a Chester Barnes Bat ( 2 actually) and like Chester played a Combination of "Penholder" and "Handshake" grip, with a different surface on each side...different pimples. Great fun when you could have BOTH sides with the same colour-then the Law changed and you HAD to have different colours for different surfaces. It gave me a great advantage playing "Semi-Penholder" as the ball, consistently, gave off a different trajectory (sp)...lol |

To add to the fun, when you could use the same colour for each side, but had different surfaces, then the opponent had no way of telling whethr it was the "slow" or "dead" side of the rubber or the "fast" side..lol
