You have to hear each track 3 or 4 times and then realise why 38 years after a bought " The Album of 1971" why it still sounds great!
The funnuest thing is the long, slow intro. to the 1st track and then we have dual guitar liftoff! |

Argus was so good but it burnt Wishbone Ash out, they never got anywhere near it again.

At one of their Milton Keynes Stables gigs I got a copy of a CD of their called 'Argus...Then Again Live'. It was recorded on an American radio station I believe, has a couple of introductory tracks, then the whole of Argus, then finishes of with 'The Way Of The World'. Good stuff. I managed to get Andy Powell to sign the disc for me too!

andy powell still tours with a version of wishbone ash but its a long way off the classic line up of powell, martin and ted turner plus drummer steve upton
