I thought Ecclestone was very good, gave the charactor and edge.

Hate the way Ecclestone said he would not do a second series & that was before they showed the first series !
He was excellent but knowing he had jumped ship before it really started was a big no no in my book.

women girls and gayers seem to love tennant, but I think he's a **, Dr Who's not for girls :(
Report Dobbo • December 28, 2009 10:18 PM GMT
Only Cushing was Doctor Who.The rest were "The Doctor"
Report Ramruma • December 28, 2009 10:46 PM GMT
Ecclestone and Tennant can act, which is more than you can say for some of their predecessors.

Had a soft spot for Pertwee - Tom Baker has ruined the memory by being Tom Baker ever since...thogh still a great Dr W.

That Bernie Ecclestone bloke was good.

Peter Davison, William Hartnell, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy ( Nap)

Tom Baker was the daddy, in a recent poll David Tennant came out on top but he iis bound to win because half the kids who watch it now have never seen any of the old Dr Who's and would probably laugh at the tuppeny special effects used but Tom Baker's doctor was the best.

Eccleston.
Best episode - Blink
Best assistant - Jo

Has to be Tom Baker imo, for the simple fact that he actually was Dr Who, rather than just acting as Dr Who. Pertwee was probs the superior actor, in terms of versatility, but Baker simply became DW. To be fair to Tennant, he's done a great job & performed the role with enthusiasm & dignity.
